Joe Rhodes

Prior to Hummingbird, Joe was the Founder and Managing Partner of Stockton Road Capital, a consumer-focused private equity investment and advisory practice. Before that, he was a Partner at Charterhouse Group International, a New York-based private equity firm where he helped invest two funds totaling $1.5B. While there, Joe led the Consumer Investing activities and served as a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Charterhouse, Joe was an investment banker working in the M&A groups at the Union Bank of Switzerland and Kidder, Peabody & Co.
Eric Schiller

Prior to Hummingbird, Eric was a Principal at Piper Jaffray in its market-leading Health & Wellness investment banking practice where he managed strategic exits of $2B+ in enterprise value. Before that, he was an integral member of Partnership Capital Growth (PCG), a merchant bank that pioneered several of the early investments in the healthy F&B sector, including Muscle Milk, KIND Healthy Snacks, thinkThin and more. Eric started his finance career at GESD Capital Partners, a private equity fund exclusively focused on the F&B and restaurant markets.
Terry Tierney

Terry serves as the Chairperson of Humble Brands. Prior to Hummingbird, Terry was CEO of Daiya Foods through its sale to Otsuka Pharmaceutical and continues to serve on Daiya’s Board as well as the Otsuka Venture Capital Committee. Terry has held various leadership positions during the course of his 35+ years in CPG, including the CEO of MyChelle Dermaceuticals, a leading natural personal care brand, and CEO of Allegro Coffee which was sold to Whole Foods, whereby Terry joined its National Executive Leadership Team. Terry started his career in marketing at Kraft Foods working under his mentor, Tyler Johnston.
Tyler Johnston

Prior to Hummingbird, Tyler was an integral member of the executive leadership team at Dreyer’s for 20+ years of substantial growth through its sale to Nestle, with early brand management experience at General Mills and Kraft. He is an expert in management, brand marketing, growth strategies and cultivating collaborative team cultures, lecturing on these topics at leading business schools.

Eric is a highly experienced CPG executive and investor who is passionate about removing plastic from the CPG system and other important environmental causes. Eric is a leading figure in the Vancouver, B.C. business community where he served as Board Chairperson of Daiya Foods, and as Board Chair or Board Advisor to many other leading companies in the Vancouver and Western Canada region.
